We are proud to announce that UzimaNexus Founder and CEO, Prudence Ibila, has been selected as a panelist for the FemSTEM Africa 2026 Kickoff Event & Panel, hosted by the Health Innovation Hub (H2i) at the University of Toronto in partnership with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The virtual event takes place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 8:00 to 9:30 AM ET / 2:00 to 3:30 PM CAT.

Now in its third year, FemSTEM Africa continues to build a thriving community of women founders, innovators, and ecosystem partners advancing health entrepreneurship across Africa. In 2026, H2i is partnering with KNUST to co-deliver the program and expand opportunities for women-led health ventures across the continent.

Prudence Ibila will join fellow panelists Beverly Senda of Pana+Care and Nura Izath of Neosave Technologies for a panel discussion moderated by Amanda Dlamini of the Health Innovation Hub (H2i). The session will feature an interactive discussion and networking opportunity where the entrepreneurs will share their journeys and experiences commercializing innovations in the health sector.

The FemSTEM Africa 2026 timeline includes the Kickoff Event and Panel on March 31, Pitch Applications from April 1 to 15, three Fireside sessions in April and May, and the FemSTEM Africa Workshop and Pitch Competition on June 1 to 2 in Kumasi, Ghana.

FemSTEM Africa is part of the Africa Health Collaborative's Health Entrepreneurship (HENT) Pillar. The 2026 program is co-designed and implemented by KNUST and H2i under the Africa Health Collaborative, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, and with legal partnership support from Sustineri Attorneys.

UzimaNexus's participation in FemSTEM Africa 2026 reflects our continued commitment to advancing women-led health innovation across the continent. We invite everyone to join the Kickoff Event on March 31 to learn more about the journeys of women health entrepreneurs and the opportunities this program offers.
